Consortium of Forensic Science Organizations (CFSO)
On February 14, 2017 the Consortium of Forensic Science Organizations (CFSO) elected new leadership for the organization. The CFSO Board of Directors voted Mr. Matthew Gamette M.S. (American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors) as Chair, Mr. Ken Martin (International Association for Identification) as Vice-Chair, Mr. Ken Martin (International Association for Identification) will also serve as Treasurer, and Dee Krebs (International Association of Forensic Nurses) as Secretary.
The membership of the Consortium of Forensic Science Organizations (CFSO) includes the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS), the American Board of Forensic Toxicology (ABFT), the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors (ASCLD), the International Association of Forensic Nurses (IAFN), the International Association for Identification (IAI), the National Association of Medical Examiners (NAME), and the Society of Forensic Toxicologists (SOFT). CFSO is a premiere organization representing over 21,000 forensic science practitioners from these organizations.
CFSO will continue to actively engage in the advancement of forensic science policy, legislation, and leadership. Information about the CFSO is available on the website www.thecfso.org or in the monthly organization newsletter www.thecfso.org/newsletter.
